Parenting Class

Sangford School offers a parenting class every term to all parents of Sangford students. In this class, parents learn about their children's emotional, social, and physical development through discussions with parent educators and interactions with other parents who have children in the same age group.

Dr. S. YAMUNA, Consultant Pediatrician and Adolescent Physician at Apollo Hospitals and Child and Adolescent Clinic, Chennai. Columnist in The Hindu Young World Quest on “Understanding Adolescence” since December 2003. Resource person for the World Health Organization, United Nations Population Fund, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, and Central Board of Secondary Education.

Dr. SANGEETHA MADHU, Senior Consultant, Clinical Psychologist from the NIMHANS. Assistant Professor, Parent Educator, Stress Management and personality development programmers to Infosys, Britannia, HLL, Rotary, Orchid Chemicals and NLC. Author of a widely read Column in the ‘Indian Express' on Sundays titled 'S.O.S'.
